The Piranhas go Dry for July

The Claremont Women’s Football Club, lead by President Aimee Barber, Head Coach Tiffany Harken and Division 2 Coach Brie Harken have put down their beer glasses to raise money for Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital’s Oncology ward via DryJuly.com.

“I have lost several members of my family to cancer, and my sister in law is currently in treatment at Charlies. If going without a drink for a month is what it takes to help make the oncology ward a nicer place for patients then that’s what I’ll do. It’s a really small price to pay for such a great gift.” said Club President, Aimee Barber.

Piranhas Lend A Hand at CFC's July Holiday Clinic


Piranhas Head Coach Tiffany Harken along with Anna Longwood and Krysia Witty steal a quiet moment while the clinic kids enjoy a sausage sizzle for lunch.

Claremont Women’s Football Club has again joined the Claremont District and Claremont Football Club for the recent July Holiday Clinic. Several players attended the clinic, held over July 7th & 8th, to help the hundreds of kids in attendance learn key footy skills.
